GRAND-AM Sets December, January Test Sessions

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - One week after presenting the championship trophies for the recently completed 2009 GRAND-AM Road Racing season, the sanctioning body announced a pair of test sessions in advance of the 2010 Rolex 24 At Daytona, set for Jan. 30-31 at Daytona International Speedway.
Competitors in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series presented by Crown Royal Cask No. 16 will test Dec. 8-9 at the famed 3.56-mile circuit.
"The Roar Before the Rolex 24" will be held Jan. 8-10, with a number of fan festivities planned in addition to testing for both the Rolex Series and the Grand-Am KONI Sports Car Challenge.
The 2010 season officially gets underway with the Fresh From Florida 200 for the KONI Challenge on Friday, Jan. 29. The 48th Rolex 24 At Daytona takes the green flag at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30.
