Biography
Braun will co-pilot the No. 60 Michael Shank Racing Ford Riley with Oswaldo Negri, Mark Patterson and Ryan Hunter-Reay in the Rolex 24 At Daytona.
Personal
Braun trained on a quarter-mile home track in a 125cc shifter kart he built. Is youngest driver in U.S. history to win a professional Formula car race and the youngest driver in history to win a Rolex Series race. He currently competes fulltime in the NASCAR Camping World Series.
Racing Career
2008
Competed in the Rolex 24 At Daytona with AIM Autosport, taking 19th.
2007
Finished fifth in Rolex Series Daytona Prototype driving championship with six podium finishes. Debuted in ARCA and took second in class in 24 Hours of Le Mans.
2006
Helped co-driver Jörg Bergmeister clinch Daytona Prototype championship, winning back-to-back races at Daytona and Barber. Finished fifth in the final point standings despite missing three feature races. Scored first-career Rolex Series pole at Barber.
2005
Competed in five Rolex Series races (two Daytona Prototype starts) with a season-best GT class result of seventh in the Rolex 24 At Daytona. Finished ninth overall at Virginia in a Daytona Prototype.
